I believe in the Right to Counsel for all and am committed to excellence, fairness and objectivity. This includes complex case review, investigative support, and public relations guidance for institutions, lawyers, and individuals.  Expert analysis and testimony for both prosecution and defense is available. My practice also includes professional consultation with victims of sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and child abuse. I will represent any person unfairly accused of  a crime.

Sex Abuse Victims

I represent and advocate for survivors of sexual violence relying on decades of experience in criminal prosecution of sex offenders. 

 

Victim advocacy includes civil lawsuit proceedings, criminal proceedings, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and sexual harassment. My relationships with national and regional experts in the field of interpersonal violence are extensive. Moreover, I accept a limited number of cases, so you are a top priority.

Megan's Law Registration

I can assist registrants with risk analysis, and Megan's Law  15 year relief from registration applications.  As a former Chief Prosecutor of Sex Crimes I was among those law enforcement professionals who helped design and shape the New Jersey laws requiring registration.

 

My research interests and experience include sex offender risk assessments and recidivism.

Child Abuse

I am an expert in the complex dynamics of child abuse. Services include case file review, case consultation, and expert analysis for both prosecutors and defense lawyers. I prosecuted crimes against children for over 20 years, while maintaining an appointment to the Robert D. McCormick Center for Child Advocacy as a professor at Montclair State University since 1999.

 

My research interests include forensic interviewing of children, policies and procedures, and investigative best practice.

Criminal Defense

I represent a limited number of clients charged with crimes from mischief to homicide. My expertise includes all aspects of  New Jersey Criminal Law and Sex Offenses. I have prosecuted scores of jury trials in Superior Court. I also represent clients charged in Superior Court and Municipal Court--- including domestic violence TROs, DWI, assault, theft and most other offenses. 

It will be of little avail to the people, that the laws are made by men of their own choice, if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood.
